Who We Are
We are the Isle of Man’s leading business community - a powerful, independent voice shaping the future of our economy.
Our mission is to accelerate economic growth and challenge the status quo where it holds us back. We listen to our members, gather evidence, and engage directly with Ministers and decision-makers to shape policies that unlock investment, remove obstacles, and create a fairer, more competitive Island.
Our Values
Independent | Collaborative | Inclusive | Influential | Pro-active | Dynamic
What We Stand For
- A strong private sector is the engine of a secure, inclusive economy.
- Chamber exists to remove barriers, unlock growth, and support enterprise.
- We are not neutral. We challenge inefficiency, poor policy, and missed opportunity - boldly and publicly, wherever it arises. We also support positive efforts to help our Island.
- We consult widely - but act decisively. Businesses expect results, not process.
- We will shine a light on inefficiency, financial waste, and misaligned policy - making economic accountability visible and accessible to the public.
- We believe in fairness - between public and private sectors, between generations, and between business and Government.
- We are pragmatic and evidence-led - backing what works, regardless of politics.
How We Work
We consult through forums and working groups. We engage across all sectors. We ground our positions in data and real-world impact. We welcome collaboration, but we do not hesitate to hold others accountable and will always speak independently. When needed, we challenge - constructively, confidently, and publicly.
